Lowry Park Zoo
Sean and I went to the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa yesterday. It was actually a giant blast! It's one of the first times we have been on a 'date' since we've been married, and we spent a whole day of quality time together.
I had the amazing opportunity to feed the giraffes, and it was just too cool. I honestly feel such a strong connection to certain animals, and giraffes are definitely one of those animals.
My favorite part of the zoo, though, was the Sting Ray tank. In the wild I would scream if I saw a large amount of Rays coming towards me, but these animals had the personality of a trained dog! They would come around the corner of the tank and stick their wings up so you could 'pet' them. Adorable and strange all at the same time.
It was really neat to go to the zoo after about 15 years after being there before. They have done a lot of renovations and it is a great place to visit in the Tampa area.
Next date ideas? No clue!
